Unit Manager Theatre Full Time

Our client is looking for an experienced Unit Manager to lead a dynamic Operating Theatre team. This role offers the opportunity to provide clinical and operational leadership while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and theatre efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the day-to-day management of the Theatre Unit.
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary theatre team.
• Ensure the efficient coordination of theatre schedules and resources.
• Drive quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Monitor compliance with infection prevention and clinical governance standards.
• Manage departmental budgets, staffing, and operational performance.
• Support continuous professional development within the unit.

Requirements
• Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Registered Nurse.
• Post-basic qualification in Operating Theatre Nursing is advantageous.
• Previous Theatre nursing experience is essential.
• Proven leadership or unit management experience.
• Strong knowledge of theatre operations and clinical governance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
