Unit Manager Medical Ward Full Time

Our client is seeking an experienced Unit Manager to oversee the operations of a busy Medical Ward. The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership while ensuring excellent patient outcomes and efficient departmental performance.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage the daily operations of the Medical Ward.
• Lead, mentor, and support the nursing team.
• Ensure compliance with clinical governance and patient safety standards.
• Coordinate staffing requirements and resource utilisation.
• Monitor quality indicators and implement improvement initiatives.
• Promote effective communication within the multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare legislation and organisational policies.

Requirements
• Registered with SANC as a Registered Nurse.
• Previous Medical Ward experience is essential.
• Leadership or management experience within a hospital environment.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to quality patient care and continuous improvement.
