Senior Geometric Design Engineer / Technologist Full Time

Are you a highly skilled and experienced Senior Geometric Design Engineer or Technologist with a passion for shaping transportation infrastructure? Our client is seeking a talented individual to join their Roads & Transportation team in Cape Town.
They are looking for a dedicated Senior Geometric Design Engineer / Technologist to contribute to a variety of road and highway projects based in their Cape Town office.

Skills:
• Highly competent in geometric design for national and provincial roads and highways.
• Extensive experience in complex road projects: freeway interchanges, major provincial roads, urban arterials, dual carriageways, major intersections, roundabouts, road marking, drainage.
• Ability to create 3D models (LOD>300) advantageous.
• Proficient in preparing road infrastructure design reports.
• Experience in preparing tender documentation (specifications, quantities, cost estimates).
• Familiarity with COLTO, COTO & general conditions of contract (advantageous).
• Commitment to compliance with ISO standards.

Qualifications:
• BEng or BTech in Civil Engineering
• 8+ years’ roads-specific design experience is a pre-requisite.
• Registration with ECSA as a Pr. Eng. or Pr. Tech Eng

Computer Literacy:
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software packages. Experience with ACC (BIM360) and Navisworks (advantageous).
