Principal Structural Engineer Full Time

Our client is seeking an exceptional Principal Engineer – a visionary technical leader to guide and drive innovation at the highest level. What We’re Looking For:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Post Graduate degree is highly desirable).
• Professional Registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
• A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in engineering roles, with a strong track record of leadership.
• Recognized deep expertise within a specific engineering discipline, supported by published work or significant industry contributions.
• Outstanding communication, leadership, and strategic thinking capabilities.

Key Responsibilities of this role:
• Strategic Leadership: Developing and implementing strategies that directly support organizational objectives. You’ll be at the forefront of identifying and integrating cutting-edge technologies to fuel innovation.
• Technical Mastery: Serve as the ultimate authority on all technical matters, providing final sign-off on designs and methodologies. Your expertise will make you the allocated advisor for internal teams, clients, and regulatory bodies.
• High-Impact Project Oversight: Take ownership of the planning, design, and execution of our most significant and complex projects. You’ll oversee project portfolios, ensuring they remain on track and deliver exceptional results. Your problem-solving skills will be crucial in resolving escalated technical challenges.
• Organizational Growth: Invest in the development of engineering talent through mentorship and leadership training initiatives and represent the organization’s technical leadership at key industry events.
