A large consulting engineering company with offices worldwide is looking to appoint an Associate Engineer – Highways.
Minimum requirements:
• Bachelor of Science or Engineering from an accredited University/Master of Science / Engineering.
• 12+ Years’ experience post grad experience of which 3+ years should be in a supervisory role
• Professionally registered as an Engineer with ECSA
• Must have previous highway design experience and is expected to have experience in managing senior engineers
• Expected to be able to check designs and supervise
• Experience Civil3D, Civil Designer, BIM360, Roadmate, TechnoCAD and Revit
Your responsibilities will include:
• Co-ordinates and provides technical management for mid-large size projects
• Manages technical client relationships and plays a major role in selling
• Manages discipline department staff
• Leads technical business development work
• Provides specialised technical input to studies and design for staff’s specific area of expertise
• Approves and signs off on work
• Leads in one or more areas of technology
• Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule and oversees technical resources to meet requirements on large, complex projects
