Electrical Project Manager Full Time NEW

Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of electrical contracting projects in Cape Town. This opportunity is ideal for a technically skilled professional with strong leadership abilities and a proven track record in managing electrical installations, site teams, budgets, and project timelines.

Minimum Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in electrical project management within the contracting or construction industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and maintenance.
• Experience in electrical contracting, project planning, and cost management.
• Ability to read, interpret, and review electrical drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Professional registration or relevant trade certification will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, coordinate, and manage electrical projects from inception to completion.
• Develop project schedules and monitor progress against agreed deadlines.
• Supervise site teams and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, and installation requirements.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, resources, and expenditure.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
• Prepare project reports, schedules, and technical documentation.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges and operational issues.
• Ensure projects are completed within budget, on schedule, and to the required standards.
