Civil Technologist – Municipal Infrastructure Full Time

Our client, a well-established consulting engineering firm in Bellville, Cape Town, is looking for an experienced Civil Technologist (4-7 years) to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in municipal infrastructure projects, including roads, stormwater, water, and sanitation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and manage municipal infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
• Prepare detailed drawings, reports, and technical documentation.
• Perform engineering calculations and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
• Conduct site inspections, liaise with contractors, and resolve technical issues.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing.

Requirements:
• BTech in Civil Engineering.
• 4-7 years’ experience in municipal infrastructure (roads, stormwater, water, and sanitation).
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and other relevant design software.
• Strong project coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Must be based in Cape Town or willing to relocate.
