Seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to maintain, improve, and build client websites. The ideal candidate is independent, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects while delivering high-quality front-end and back-end solutions. Responsibilities
• Maintain, optimise, and improve existing WordPress websites.
• Handle theme adjustments, plugin setup, front-end styling, and troubleshooting.
• Build full websites as required based on client needs.
• Resolve performance, UX, and functionality issues.
• Communicate directly with clients when needed.
• Collaborate with internal team members, including project managers and web leads.
• Manage multiple client websites concurrently.
Key Requirements
• 2–3+ years of solid WordPress development experience.
• Strong skills in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with theme customisation and child themes.
• Proficiency in at least two page builders: Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, or Gutenberg.
• Plugin configuration and optimisation experience.
• WooCommerce experience is an advantage.
• Bonus skills: performance optimisation, DNS/hosting knowledge, Git.
• Strong problem-solving ability, independence, and attention to detail.
• Comfortable being client-facing.
• Proven long-term commitment in previous roles.
• Strong WordPress portfolio and reliable communication skills.
