Structural Engineer / Technologist Full Time

About the Role:
In this pivotal position, you’ll split your time between the office—designing and planning key structural components—and the site, where you’ll provide hands-on technical support and ensure that designs are executed to perfection. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality commercial projects that stand the test of time.

Minimum Requirements:
• BSc/BEng in Civil Engineering or BTech in Structural Engineering
• Professional registration with ECSA (or in the process)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in structural design, with strong commercial project exposure
• Proficient in Prokon, Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and sound engineering judgement
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Physically fit and comfortable working both in the office and on site

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and detail structural elements for commercial buildings in line with industry standards
• Perform structural analysis using Prokon and other design tools
• Prepare and review structural specifications that balance safety, cost, and sustainability
• Conduct site inspections and oversee construction activities to ensure alignment with design
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, and the wider professional team throughout project lifecycles
• Monitor project progress, track milestones, and report back to stakeholders
• Perform Facility Condition Assessments and Structural Assessments
