Site Engineer Full Time

A leading construction company in Cape Town is seeking a Site Engineer with a strong background in building projects to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced professional looking to work on challenging and high-quality developments.

Minimum Requirements:
• BTech/BSc in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• 5+ years’ experience as a Site Engineer in the building construction industry
• Proven experience working on commercial, residential, or mixed-use building projects
• Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site processes
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in MS Office, MS Projects, and construction software (e.g. AutoCAD, BuildSmart or similar)
• Valid driver’s license and own transport

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily site activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants
• Monitor progress against programme and report to Project/Contracts Manager
• Ensure quality standards and safety regulations are upheld on site
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Maintain accurate site records and documentation
• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering support on site
