Senior Project Manager – Built Environment Full Time

Our client is looking to appoint a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee major building and infrastructure projects. This role offers the opportunity to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage complex project portfolios and contribute to the successful delivery of high-value developments across South Africa and selected Sub-Saharan African locations.

Duties:
• Direct all aspects of project management from planning through completion.
• Manage project scope, budgets, timelines, quality and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary professional teams and external stakeholders.
• Prepare technical reports and project updates.
• Ensure effective procurement, resource allocation and risk management.
• Apply recognised construction contracts, including JBCC.
• Drive successful project execution while maintaining client satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience:
• BSc (Hons) Construction Management or equivalent.
• Alternatively, BSc Engineering or BSc Quantity Surveying with an interest in project management.
• PrCPM registration with SACPCMP is essential.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in construction project management.
• Extensive experience within the built environment and multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong project planning and technical reporting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Sound knowledge of engineering and construction principles.
• Valid driver’s licence with own vehicle.
• Willingness to undertake short-term travel within South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa.
