Ports & Coastal Engineer Full Time

We’re partnering with a leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy to find an exceptional Ports & Coastal Engineer who wants to make a lasting impact on Africa’s maritime landscape. You’ll work on diverse, challenging projects while being part of a team that values innovation, sustainability, and making a meaningful societal impact.

What You’ll Do
• Create conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs for ports and coastal infrastructure
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and manage complex engineering projects
• Review and verify high-level designs, ensuring compliance with international standards
• Contribute to winning new work through compelling bids and proposals
• Interface with clients, municipalities, environmental specialists, and fellow engineers

What We’re Looking For
• BSc/MSc or BEng/MEng in Structural and/or Marine Engineering
• Professional registration with ECSA (or ability to register within 2 years)
• 8+ years relevant experience
• Proven coastal and/or port engineering expertise
• Strong structural analysis and design background
• Numerical or physical modelling experience
• Proficiency in specialized engineering software packages
• Familiarity with international marine and coastal design codes
