MEPF Co-ordinator Full Time

Our client is seeking an experienced MEPF Co-ordinator to join their Cape Town team on a contract basis. This opportunity is ideal for a technically capable professional with a strong Mechanical or Electrical background and proven experience coordinating building services across construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the implementation of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire systems across building projects
• Liaise effectively with project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients
• Review and coordinate technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation
• Identify and resolve technical coordination issues relating to MEPF systems
• Monitor project progress and assist with programme and budget requirements
• Coordinate multiple MEPF activities and ensure deadlines are achieved
• Provide technical guidance and support throughout the construction process
• Ensure work complies with relevant building codes, regulations, standards, and project requirements
• Report to the MEPF Manager and Construction Manager

Requirements:
• Relevant qualification within the built environment will be advantageous
• 3–5 years’ experience in MEPF coordination, particularly within Mechanical and Electrical systems
• Strong understanding of construction processes, building services, and coordination requirements
• Knowledge of applicable building codes, regulations, and Electrical standards
• Proficiency in relevant software, including AutoCAD, Revit, or other MEPF design software
• Experience with project scheduling, progress monitoring, and coordinating multiple activities
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Detail-oriented with the ability to review drawings and technical documentation accurately
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Willingness to continuously develop technical knowledge and adapt to evolving industry requirements
• Physically fit and comfortable working within a construction environment
