Elevate Your Environmental Career in Durban: Lead Meaningful Projects! A progressive environmental consulting firm is seeking a passionate Environmental Scientist to manage key environmental assessments and contribute to a more sustainable future in the region.

Your Role:
• Lead and contribute to a diverse range of environmental projects, including Basic Assessments and EIAs.
• Drive sustainable development and strategic environmental planning initiatives.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and manage specialist inputs (biodiversity, socio-economic, etc. – advantageous!).
• Engage with stakeholders and facilitate meaningful consultations.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and deliver high-quality reports and proposals.

What You Bring:
• BSc Honours in Environmental Science, Economics, Social Science, or Engineering.
• Approximately 4-6 years in the environmental consulting field.
• Registered EAP or Pr.Sci.Nat.
• Specific involvement in South African and potentially international EIAs.
• GIS skills in ArcGIS or similar (a plus!).
• Strong legislative knowledge and analytical abilities.
