Contract Manager Full Time

Are you an experienced Contract Manager with a strong understanding of FIDIC and NEC contracts? Join our client’s dynamic team and contribute to significant engineering and construction projects!

The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For:
• Managing the administration of works packages, addressing commercial, contractual, and performance matters on elements of the Kusile Power Station project (utilizing FIDIC and NEC contracts).
• Managing set commercial package objectives and cascading them to the team.
• Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities to minimize Employer liability.
• Developing and empowering direct staff to take ownership of project sections.
• Fostering a strong team spirit.
• Fulfilling other reasonable tasks within the role’s scope.
• Applying SHEQ/Zero Harm Health and Safety objectives and procedures.
• Understanding and adhering to Environmental Objectives and Procedures for the Project Site.

Key Competencies:
• Degree in a construction-related discipline.
• Registration with ECSA (Pr.Eng/Pr.Tech)
• Minimum of 10 years of Contract Management experience, with at least 5 years at a leadership level in a contracting company or as an employer’s Resident Engineer.
• Proven experience managing major contracts.
• Strong understanding of the FIDIC contract conditions.
• Technically knowledgeable in commercial, contract, and risk management.
• Exposure to large engineering and construction projects, preferably in the Power or major Infrastructure Sector.
