Electrical Engineer Full Time

Our client is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer / Renewable Energy Engineer to join their multidisciplinary team focused on delivering utility-scale renewable energy projects, including Photovoltaic (PV) and Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) developments. Key Responsibilities
• Design PV systems using tools such as PVSyst, PVSol, PVCase, and SAM
• Conduct technical site surveys and feasibility studies
• Support preparation of technical submissions and tender documents
• Review and advise on Molten Salt Storage and CSP systems
• Attend client meetings and support contract negotiations
• Provide technical due diligence and project advisory through to financial close
• Assist with EPC and O&M tender preparation
• Oversee construction, commissioning, and operational handover
• Review project permits, designs, and construction contracts
• Assess and mitigate technical risks across CAPEX/OPEX
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, health & safety standards, and best practices

Minimum Requirements
• BSc/BEng or MEng/MSc in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy
• 3+ years’ experience in utility-scale PV projects
• 5+ years in the design and implementation of electrical systems, including MV and HV substations
• Registered as a Professional Engineer (Pr Eng or equivalent)
• Advantageous: Experience in CSP, Molten Salt Storage, and submarine cable design
• Familiarity with European regulations and FIDIC contracts is a plus

Technical Skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office Suite
• Project scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project
• PV system design software: PVSyst, PVSol, PVCase, SAM
• Experience with Aconex (advantageous)
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English
• Willingness to travel and conduct site visits as required
