Civil Engineer Full Time

Our reputable client is looking for civil engineering candidates with a specialization in infrastructure projects pertaining to substations and solar photovoltaic plants.

QUALIFICATIONS & BACKGROUND:
• BSc/BTech or BEng Civil Engineering.
• Professional Registration with ECSA desired. Candidates that have submitted, also considered.
• Prior experience in the design of photovoltaic energy installations and high-voltage electrical substations is advantageous.
• Practical on-site experience within construction environments (specifically solar energy and substation projects preferred).
• 5+ years’ professional experience is necessary.
• Knowledge of Prokon and Civil 3D.
• Familiarity with the processes and requirements of the national power utility is beneficial.
• Proficiency in relevant design software packages, such as structural analysis and civil design tools, is required.
• Previous working experience with Eskom preferred.
