Application Support Engineer Full Time

Our client is seeking an Application Support Engineer to join their Business Process Management team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded professional who enjoys supporting enterprise applications, improving operational processes, and working on system integration projects within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Support the administration and configuration of business applications.
• Assist with system security, user administration and reporting.
• Coordinate user training and support initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes through technology.
• Develop SQL-based solutions to address process and system requirements.
• Document operational procedures and user guides.
• Manage and resolve application support tickets within agreed service levels.
• Assist with application upgrades, testing and integration projects.
• Support automation initiatives and continuous process improvement.
• Provide technical assistance and troubleshoot application-related issues.

Requirements
• Matric or equivalent qualification.
• Relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous.
• CargoWise Specialist Certification is essential.
• CargoWise Professional Certification is advantageous.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of software systems and business processes.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
