Junior Greenstar Accredited Professional
An exciting opportunity exists for a Junior Green Accredited Professional to join our client’s Johannesburg-based team. The successful candidate will support the delivery of green building certification processes across sustainable construction projects.
Responsibilities:
• Manage documentation for Green Star and EDGE certification submissions
• Assist with preparation and submission of audit packs to certification bodies
• Conduct site inspections and monitor compliance with green building standards
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and auditors on certification requirements
• Support post-construction audits and reporting processes
• Track project progress and highlight sustainability compliance risks
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of certification-related documentation
• Participate in EDGE Expert functions across assigned projects
Requirements:
• BSc in Sciences, Engineering, or Construction discipline
• GBCSA Green Star AP and IFC EDGE Expert certification required
• At least 2 years’ relevant experience
• Exposure to Green Star building projects (minimum one project required)
• Valid driver’s licence
• Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks in construction
