Water Engineer / Technologist Full Time

We are partnering with a leading multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm that is actively seeking a proactive and driven professional to join their dynamic Water team based in Cape Town. This is a full-time, site-based contract opportunity to contribute to a major municipal infrastructure project for the City of Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities:
• Providing dedicated Site Supervision and Construction Monitoring services on a major construction site, working under the guidance of a senior engineer.
• Conducting thorough inspections of construction works to verify contractor compliance with project drawings and specifications.
• Assisting with quantity verification and the accurate preparation of monthly contractor payment certificates.
• Supporting comprehensive contract administration tasks.
• Participating in technical workshops and assisting with on-site design solutions as needed.
• Recording and updating as-built information on construction drawings.

Minimum Requirements:
• BSc / BEng / BTech Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Proven experience with construction monitoring and site supervision on construction projects.
• A strong understanding of construction contract documentation, including Bills of Quantities, Specifications, and Drawings.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Prior exposure to the design of municipal water and sewer services.
