Senior Engineer Full Time

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join a specialist engineering team delivering Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) solutions across Sub-Saharan Africa. This is an excellent opportunity for a technical leader who enjoys complex system integration, client engagement, and mentoring engineering teams while working on mission-critical utility environments.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the design, configuration, integration and commissioning of ADMS solutions.
• Manage project delivery, ensuring scope, quality, timelines and technical standards are achieved.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and technicians.
• Act as the senior escalation point for complex technical challenges.
• Engage with clients to gather requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
• Support system testing, implementation and ongoing operational reliability.
• Review engineering designs and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and engineering best practices.

Requirements
• BEng (Electrical, Electronic or Computer Engineering) or BSc in Computer Science.
• 5–10 years’ relevant technical experience.
• Previous experience leading technical teams.
• Project delivery experience within enterprise environments.
• Strong experience with GE PowerOn ADMS.
• Experience with Oracle databases and Linux command line.
• Exposure to enterprise system integration and mission-critical environments.
• Excellent report writing and Microsoft Office proficiency.
