Senior Civil Engineering Design Technologist/Technician Full Time

Are you a seasoned Civil Engineering Design Technologist/Technician with 10+ years of experience and a passion for delivering innovative and high-quality designs? This is your opportunity to join a dynamic team working on impactful projects in an office-based role in Krugersdorp.

Key Requirements:
• National Diploma in Engineering (relevant discipline).
• Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineering Technician/Technologist.
• Labour Intensive Construction NQF Level 5 or 7 certification.
• Proficiency in Civil Designer, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD.
• In-depth knowledge of GCC, FIDIC, NEC, or JBCC contracts.
• Strong understanding of engineering concepts, industry standards, and relevant legislation (HS Act, Construction Regulations, Environmental Management Act).

What You’ll Do:
• Lead design teams and act as the design team leader on project components.
• Provide technical guidance and verify designs by junior team members.
• Manage and process survey and site investigation information.
• Conduct feasibility studies, master planning, and options analysis.
• Prepare technical proposals, procurement documents, Bills of Quantities, and cost estimates.
• Liaise with clients and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Ensure adherence to the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and promote professional and ethical practices.
• Solve complex engineering problems and provide innovative solutions.
