Project Manager Full Time

Our client is actively seeking highly capable Project Managers to lead exciting electrical and instrumentation projects in Cape Town, Durban, and Bloemfontein.
They are looking for leaders who can expertly navigate the complexities of electrical and instrumentation projects, ensuring seamless execution, adherence to stringent quality standards, and successful delivery within established timelines and budgets. Your expertise will be crucial in managing contracts, mitigating risks, and fostering strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
• Developing and implementing comprehensive project plans, including detailed scopes, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Managing project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Engaging in strategic contract management, including the formulation and negotiation of claims when necessary.
• Conducting thorough risk assessments and implementing proactive mitigation strategies to safeguard project success.
• Ensuring strict compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and quality management systems.
• Overseeing all site activities to ensure safety protocols are rigorously followed and construction progress aligns with design specifications.

Requirements:
• BEng/BSc/BTech Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience within the electrical and instrumentation industry.
• 4-5 years of proven experience serving in a leadership capacity such as a Site Manager or Contracts Manager
• Demonstrable strong project management experience, including a solid understanding of claims formulation and negotiation.
