Professional Construction Manager Full Time

A leading client in the built environment sector is seeking a Professional Construction Manager to oversee the delivery of complex building projects in the Cape Town region.
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take the lead on high-profile developments while working within a collaborative and performance-driven environment.

Our client is looking for a professionally registered Construction Manager with a minimum of 10 years’ experience managing the construction of commercial, residential, or mixed-use buildings. The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven ability to drive projects from inception to completion—on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities
• Ensure adherence to project specifications, timelines, and budgets
• Oversee contractor performance, safety compliance, and quality standards
• Lead progress meetings, reporting, and stakeholder communication
• Resolve site-based challenges and maintain programme alignment
• Supervise site personnel and manage multidisciplinary teams

Requirements:
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in building construction projects
• Professional registration (Pr.CM) with SACPCMP is essential
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Familiarity with relevant construction legislation, contracts, and best practices
• Based in Cape Town or willing to relocate
