Mechanical Engineer – Building Services Full Time

As a Mechanical Engineer specializing in Building Services, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems within buildings. This includes HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), plumbing, fire protection, and other related building services. This role is ideal for an ECSA Candidate Engineer eager to apply their knowledge and gain valuable experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the design and specification of mechanical building services systems.
• Contribute to the preparation of technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Collaborate with architects, electrical engineers, and senior team members.
• Ensure designs align with relevant codes and standards.
• Assist with site inspections and monitor installation progress.
• Work towards ECSA registration requirements, gaining practical experience.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3-6 years of experience in the design and implementation of building services.
• Registered with ECSA as a Candidate Mechanical Engineer.
• Knowledge of South African building codes and standards.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., Revit MEP, AutoCAD) is advantageous.
