Civil Engineer – Stormwater Management Full Time

Our client is a dynamic and expanding engineering firm specializing in the design and delivery of innovative infrastructure solutions. We are committed to excellence and are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mid-Level Civil Engineer to join our team in Cape Town.
This role focuses on the design and management of stormwater systems for a variety of projects, including roads, residential developments, and other critical infrastructure. Responsibilities:
• Design and analyze stormwater management systems, including drainage networks etc.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Conduct hydraulic and hydrologic modeling
• Perform site inspections and assessments to evaluate existing conditions and identify potential issues.
• Collaborate with project managers and other engineering disciplines to ensure project success.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BSc, BEng, BTech)
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in civil engineering, with a focus on stormwater management.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D or Civil Designer software is essential.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic and hydrologic principles.
• Experience with stormwater modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, SWMM) is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal stormwater regulations.
• ECSA registration essential (professional preferred)
