Chief Ventilation Officer Full Time

A mine based in Gauteng is actively looking for a reliable and experienced Chief Ventilation Officer.

Minimum Requirements:

• Chamber of Mines Certificate in Mine Environmental Control.
• Lamp room management
• Member of the Mine Ventilation Society of South Africa
• Practical experience of at least 10 years in the Ventilation field of which a minimum of 2 years within an underground trackless environment
• Previous 12.1 MHSA legal appointment (advantageous)
• Sound knowledge of mine ventilation engineering and occupational hygiene principles.
• Sound knowledge of the MHSA and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Medical Certificate of fitness.
• Computer Literate in MS Office, SAP, and a working knowledge of specialised technical software
