Actuarial Executive (General) Full Time

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Actuarial Executive with a strong background in General Insurance to join our client’s team.
In this pivotal role, you will lead and review projects across all areas of short-term actuarial services, encompassing technical provisions (IBNR, UPR, AURR, stochastic risk adjustments often in R/Python), and providing essential IFRS 17 reporting and HAF support. You’ll be crucial in capital modelling, including reviews of economic capital models, building challenger models, and quantitative validation of SAM/RBC standard formulas.

Minimum Requirements:
• Qualified or near-qualified actuary
• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• At least seven years’ experience in General Insurance, with a focus on pricing, reserving, and capital modelling.
• Strong proficiency in statistical modelling techniques; R programming is advantageous. Experience with SAM, ORSAs, valuations, and solvency calculations is beneficial.
• Highly motivated, strong work ethic, excellent communication and presentation skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines. Project and people management experience is a plus.
